Fair Share Scholarships & Course Fees COURSE FEES: The course fees cover the actual course delivery, training resources, tuition and assessment costs. NB Erda Institute does not receive government funding so all courses are conducted on a fee-for-service basis. The full course fees are calculated to cover essential course costs. Any concessions awarded by Erda Institute need to be recouped through other fundraising activities (generated by voluntary input), hence the opportunity to reduce course fees is presented in the spirit of a direct energy exchange where those benefiting contribute back to Erda Institute operations through voluntary work. The maximum Fair Share Scholarship exchange that can be offered is 20% of the full course fee. This will generally involve an exchange of 3 hours per week of voluntary work for Erda Institute, depending on the course fee and duration. The nature of voluntary work will be mutually agreed according to Erda's needs and the participant's skills. Participants will maintain a log and timesheet of work undertaken. The scholarship status will be reviewed on a regular basis. NOTE: if you have been on benefits and participating in Work For The Dole, you may have training credits due that can be used towards your course fees. Check with your Case Manager or Centrelink to see if there are any sources of financial support available towards your course costs. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need to disuss fee and payment options.
